Selection of vibration parameters:
1.Acceleration measurement has excellent high frequency performance. Therefore, it is very effective in judging faults in bearings and gearboxes.
2. Velocity measurement is the most commonly used parameter in vibration analysis. For different types of mechanical power, when judging whether mechanical vibration is acceptable. According to ISO2372, BS4678 or VD2056, speed will be a guide to judgement.
3. Displacement measurement is mostly used in low-speed machinery, which has good low-frequency characteristics, but when bearing is installed, the displacement measurement effect is not ideal.
Precautions for measurement:
1.The connection cable of the sensor is easy to cause noise and should avoid cable winding and large amplitude sloshing. The other source of noise is the bad contact of the connector and should also be paid attention to.
2.Instruments should not be used in the environment of strong electromagnetic interference or corrosive gases, and should be protected from strong vibration and impact.
3.The sensitivity of the instrument is adjusted according to the sensitivity of the sensor, so it is not necessary to exchange sensors at any time.
4.Each measurement should be carried out in the same running state of the machine. Changing the running state may cause the vibration quantity to change, thus drawing incorrect conclusions.
5.Select the appropriate location and direction of the test point.
6.The measuring points should be smooth and clean, so that the magnetic suction seat of the sensor has good plane contact with the measuring points, so that better frequency response characteristics can be obtained.
7.Each measurement should be carried out in the same position and direction. For this reason, marking should be made at the location of the measuring point.
8.Measure the vibration of the machine at regular intervals (such as daily or weekly) and record the data so as to make a correct diagnosis by analyzing the change of vibration and the trend of development.
